Hi, I’m Anton Paulsson, a frontend developer, co-founder and head of marketing at WeBringCode.

I got into tech early. I was six or seven when I got my first Nintendo, and by eleven or twelve gaming had led me into programming and web development. My World of Warcraft guild needed a forum, so I built one. That got me hooked on making things with technology, and it’s stuck with me ever since.
As a developer I’m thorough, and I care a lot about the user experience. The things I build shouldn’t just work. They should feel simple, smooth and obvious to use. I mostly work with JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, building web and mobile apps, often with a big focus on the interface. I’m also happy to step outside frontend when it’s needed, whether that’s backend systems, single sign-on or all kinds of integrations.
I like being involved early, chipping in with planning, ideas and concrete suggestions. When a project gets stuck or the goalposts suddenly move, I’m usually the one who stays calm, spots a new way forward and comes up with a creative fix. For me, good development is about understanding both the people who’ll use the product and the problem it’s actually meant to solve.
I’m also head of marketing, so I look after how we show up and what we say, from this website to what we write. The same rule applies there as in code: keep it clear, honest and easy to understand.
Outside work, I like getting away from screens. I go for walks, get out into nature and love feeling the wind in my face and being in the moment. I still play computer games too, more than 20 years on, and I’m off somewhere sunnier whenever I get the chance. Add a good meal and a nice bottle of red, and you’ve got a pretty fair picture of me.
